What has the Holy Spirit said to your heart?

Has the Holy Spirit said anything to you about:

1) Tony Evan's teaching "Connecting Giving and Receiving"? Evans reported that Christians give on the average only 2 1/2 % of their income to the Lord. What did he mean by "You must plant a seed in order to meet a need?"

2) Leadership 101? Where are you in "the four phases of development" and what can you do to increase your effectiveness as a leader? Did you get the teaching on "The Law of the Lid?" What is your lid and what can you do to raise it?

hey PB!
I don't know if anyone has expressed this to you, but I wanted to thank you for showing us Rev Tony Evans' message "Connecting Giving and Receiving". It effected Sarel and I greatly.
We were just talking about it today, actually. Knowing that God is our source for everything - having the conceptual dots connected, as it were - helped release all the stress I couldve ever felt at work.
Thanks for the Leadership 101 class too. That is also opening my eyes to several truths about me, my work, my marriage and our lovely church.

... So, yeah... Thanks! =]

Your comment, Kris, is encouraging. I love Tony's idea of 'planting' and 'harvesting.' Sowing is essential to gathering. Giving is a privilege, an honor. And, just think, we get to become God's partners in ministry!

REgarding Leadership 101: It is my hope that we will hear the voice of the Lord asking (as he did Isaiah), "Whom shall I send and who will go for us?" And, that we respond as did Isaiah, "Here am I, send me."
